I think unlike the majority of Tesla owners, I did not have 50amp service installed in my garage, and I work from 20amp. Which is fine, I drive like ten miles to work and back lol.This charger is PERFECT for that.Actually I thought I'd have to get an adapter, but this charger automatically recognized my receptacle as 20amp and charges accordingly at 16. No adapter needed. The charger I was previously using was a generic EV charger and as such needed the tesla adapter too, which was annoying because it almost always came off trying to remove the plug from my Tesla. This charger obviously does not have the same problem.This charger does not have an app, which some do, the one I was using had one, even though Tesla has charging related options in its own app, so I feel like that's not a negative at all, I didn't even use the app on the previous charger.I really like the button on the connector too, you can just press that if you forgot to hit the open button in the car or your car is locked and you wanna charge. Nice.I've been using it for a couple weeks now and have had zero issues, it just feels like it fits better to me personally and my Tesla habits. At this price, it's a solid alternative to a more expensive Tesla branded charger, and I might just pick up another one just to have in the car.
