Every once in a while, you find a company that understands where their place in the market is and thrives there. They make decent quality products at a decent price and overdeliver to the customer. That's Lisen.I've purchased 2 of their product so far, and I think there's absolutely a market for a 'middle of the road' price-to-quality ratio company like this. Don't get me wrong, I love Anker and have used many of their products over the years. But I'm not going to spend over $100 on a multi charger, I don't care what it's made from. But, that also doesn't mean that I'm willing to buy the cheapest P.O.S. on Amazon and watch it break in a month. In between those two options, you have Lisen.I already had all the cables on my nightstand to charge all my things, and I don't like purchasing solutions to problems I don't have. However, I was about to go on vacation and realized that plugging in each of my devices individually would take up more precious space (plugs) than I wanted to. I had previously looked for an all-in-one but kept running into the same problems mentioned above when it came to the quality/price point ratio. However, this model looked like it covered all my bases: it folds flat for travel, charges faster than many other options available and it also looks good enough (for me) on my nightstand when the vacation was over. Also, I kept reading the same thing repeatedly throughout the reviews: 'better quality than I expected'. So, I took the risk.When it first arrives and you unbox it, you'll notice that the plastic feels kinda, well...plasticky. Not very thick or premium feeling. I believe, however, that is the trade off for the other thing you'll immediately notice which is how light the product is. I'll take that trade. The next thing you'll notice is the robustness of the hinges. They're not stiff in the negative way, but firm in the positive way. I have a larger phone and didn't want the hinges moving on their own under its weight. They won't. It will stay in the position you place it in. That's also true of where you decide to place it as the bottom has some stick to it, so it won't move around on any flat surfaces too much when you use it.The magnets are similarly robust and I can't see my phone falling from the MagSafe charger unintentionally. It does have one issue that I believe you should be made aware of, and it's a small matter (at least to me). The watch charger unfolds to an angle that will make it difficult to reliably charge it if you have any kind of aftermarket case installed for protection. I found this out the hard way and was annoyed at first, but it meets so many other of my needs so well that I ended up just popping my watch out of it's case when I need to charge it.The AirPods charging is non-magnetic and simple, though it does make the case slightly warm. I've never had it get warm enough to concern me, so I just take it as a quirk of the fast charging, and it does charge fast.I think 'middle of the road' companies like this are fantastic and worth supporting. It doesn't need it to be made of marble or stainless steel, I don't even need it to be aesthetically pleasing I just need it to be well engineered and affordable. This does both of those very well. Though, to be fair, I think it looks pretty nice too.
