The hub is fairly lightweight but it has rubber feet on the bottom so it doesn't slide around easily. Best of all, there is a phone cradle on the front that allows you to video chat hands-free or watch movies or whatever while charging your phone. It holds my phone securely, even in the case, in the horizontal or vertical position. And I love that it is so compact as my current desk is not large. I am going to order another one for my nightstand.I wish the ledge was larger for holding my phone in it's case.
