Buddies got me back in to Airsoft and I have definitely enjoyed this rifle. Comes with everything you need to get started. Had an Issue with the original battery. I contacted manufacturer and they sent me a new one with no issues and within just a few days I was back up and runningUPDATE: I have updated my rating to a 4 because the company reached out to me promptly and are providing the proper clip to make the gun fully automatic as the description states. They are also working on updating the description to avoid further confusion. He explained that the clip that comes with the gun is only designed to shoot a few rounds and then must be rewound. In order to be fully automatic another clip must be purchased. I appreciate their willingness to work with me so promptly. My son ordered this gun and when he received it, it would only fire a few times and then stop. It fired as it should when he held it upside down. We exchanged it and the second gun had the same issue. This time we returned it for a refund. Amazon was great about the returns, but the gun was a huge disappointment. After reading the comments, I see others have had the same issue, I don't usually write reviews, but when the second one had the same problem, I decided to warn others.Works great out of the box. Son loves it. Only has been used for one full day of battle, no issues.Best thing for airsoft is to not cheap out on your primary. Spending 200 and over is a great starter. This LT25 has been good so far after a couple of game days with it. However, if you want a more powerful torque motor, build quality, and lighter primary, I’d suggest spending the extra 30-60 bucks for a third generation lancer tactical rifle. GEN3s have better exterior and interior specs. Still, nothing wrong with the GEN2 if you’re on a budget.Downsides are the crane stock, fitting the battery in there, plugging it in, and trying to retract the stock fully will not work. You must extend to the 2nd position, which even then is causing A LOT of stress on the wires and I’ve already seen chipping and rips in the wire cord, no inner wire has been ripped yet, just the outside. So if you don’t want to cause any damage to the wiring, you’ll have to play with the stock fully extended which sucks because it’s way too long for cqc environment then. GEN3s have fixed this problem though.OVERALL paying extra 30-60 bucks and getting a GEN3 can save you from replacing wires and all that bs that the GEN2 has, but if you’re more careful, the GEN2 is fine.I was very happy with the quality of the gun. It has a solid build and a nice weight. The pinpoint scope is very accurate once you adjust the hopup. While the magazine holds a lot of ammo, that's where the pros stop. In full auto mode you have to constantly wind the magazine. As this was my first airsoft purchase, I didn't know that was a thing. My son found this annoying to the point that we may return the gun.The gun shoots straight as an arrow, very well made and probably one of the best airsoft guns I have purchased. All the hype I have been reading about I was expecting much better... the gun is ok and not bad at all. Was just expecting much better.. the range isn't the best for such a long barrel. Run a 2s lipo and you will get better trigger response.Works great so far definitely recommend
